Style dabbing
Hello. This message is in regards to your edits of
- Well I still believe that I did the right thing, since Namie Amuro's STYLE was not the best name for it, but I knew that it would find a more suitable home eventually. The point was to remove the confusion from Style and Style (album). -- Wiz9999 17:52, 25 September 2006 (UTC)]
image - map of economic subsections of AU
thanks Wiz9999 for contributing this potentially very useful file.
problem: Its difficult to read and thus confusing, in its present form. It appears that complex multiply-overlapping structures are to a degree defying clear graphical representation.
possibly a larger version of the map would be more easily understood? or a different form of representation - say, colored symbols in each country rather than very thin stripes that are tending to bleed a bit on the comp screen.
again i thank you for your evident contributions. this is meant not as criticism, but as asking for further help.

- Furthermore, Burundi and Rwanda joined EAC, so the map should be updated to that effect. I usually do such things myself, but my software can't handle the neat stripes you've included... Could you update them, please? Thanks! —Nightstallion (?) 23:27, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

A question about your image 800px-BlankMap-World-Borders.png
Hey there.
I'm currently authoring a manga and it discusses war/political conflicts so I needed a map to reflect the setting's national borders and territories. I added colors for each faction/alliance to your image, 800px-BlankMap-World-Borders.png, and a small legend for each color as well.
I'd like to upload this to my deviantART site as a reference so others can better understand the story's politics and just for the sake of enhancing the realism of this world I'm creating. However, I wanted to make sure that I credited you for creating the actual framework I designed this map with. Is there any particular way you'd like for me to list your original copyright? Do you even want me to list one? And if you'd rather me not upload or use this image I'll understand that as well. I just wanted to be polite and ask you first.
Thanks!
PS: I really appreciate that you took the time to create a well-designed map like this, it's pretty useful!

There is no need to credit me for this map, I do not require it. Feel free to list the original copyright however you so choose. Wiz9999 12:47, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

from the maps you recently uploaded in commons. it is clear that they have been made in a vector program. therefore would be more practical if you could upload them in SVG format. otherwise they will end in the list of files that should be converted. [Category:Images_that_should_use_vector_graphics]. wich would mean making them again. please consider in uploading the SVG version yourself-LadyofHats 05:24, 28 January 2007 (UTC)

I found it quite hard to "colour with a single click", as is claimed in the
Having said that, I must say that I really like the idea of having a slightly smaller dot for dependencies to be a brilliant idea! I only wish I came up with that, the circles in the Caribbean region on my map are very crowded, that might ease the congestion! --Canuckguy 22:07, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
- Well that was not my idea either, you can thank Astrokey44 for that. I just used his maps in making this one. As for the colouring issue, im not sure why its not working for you, because the lines across the ocean should colour the territories linked to that country (Such as if you paint the USA red, Alaska will also turn up red). Certain territories are excluded from the map (such as Hawaii) as they would cause an unreasonable number of lines bisecting the ocean. Wiz9999 04:01, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
- If you were talking about Saint Martin not automatically changing colour with the rest of the Netherlands Antilles / Guadeloupe this issue has been fixed in the new version, it was a small glitch in the Caribbean that would not have allowed for a single click to colour these two entities. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry. If you created this image, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. If the file is up for deletion because it has been superseded by a superior derivative of your work, consider the notion that although the file may be deleted, your hard work (which we all greatly appreciate) lives on in the new file.

Thanks for uploading Image:Discovery Civilisation Europe logo.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{

Your Petrocaribe map image has been out of date for quite some time. Haiti has since joined the Petrocaribe pact with Venezuela yet your map still shows Haiti as an excluded country. Please correct it. Thank you. User talk:Spyder00Boi 08:19, 06 November 2007 (UTC)

You have done a great job on the African Economic Community page with treaties and regional agreements. Thanks. Inviting you to WikiAfrica Incubator!
Hey Wiz9999,
WikiAfrica invites you to support the Africa Incubator.
WikiAfrica is pleased to invite you as a self-declared African Wikipedian to evaluate the Africa Incubator. WikiAfrica has created the Africa Incubator to support and assist new authors, as they create their first articles and learn the ins and outs of contributing to Wikipedia.
The Africa Incubator is a ‘soft landing’ for new authors to develop articles that relate to Africa. It assists them in becoming compliant and knowledgeable of Wikipedia principles and rules. Based within the Wikipedia framework, the Africa Incubator is fully interactive and enables feedback, assistance and forums.
This is where we need your help! For the Africa Incubator to be successful, it needs the intervention, interaction and experience of Incubator Mentors. We are looking for a pool of active experienced Wikipedians to consistently participate in ’owning’ the Africa Incubator. Incubator Mentors will assist new comers through the editing process. They will also help test and expand the Africa Incubator, and will play a vital role in encouraging newcomers to be Wikipedians for life
Please visit WikiAfrica Incubator to give us your honest feedback and evaluation. WikiAfrica is a ground-breaking project that is designed to Africanise Wikipedia by generating and expanding 30,000 articles over two years. Find out more about this project here WikiAfrica.
