VERSO International School is a privately-owned

co-educational, international school located in Bang Phli district, Bangkok, Thailand, which opened in August 2020. It teaches students from Early Years 2 (pre-nursery) to Grade 12, and offers American curriculum.[1][2] It is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges[3] and is a member of International Schools Association of Thailand.[4]

History

The school opened in August 2020 for Early Years 2–Grade 8, with Grades 9–12 opening in 2021.[7][8]

Campus

Designed by

rai plot of land near the Suvarnabhumi Airport in Samut Prakan province.[1][2] Palmer & Turner received the world design awards in 2021 for the school building.[10]

Curriculum

VERSO follows the American curriculum which is based on the New York State Education Department (NYSED) framework. The school employs interdisciplinary teaching and project-based learning approaches.[11] It became the first international school in Thailand to join the Mastery Transcript Consortium (MTC).[12]

Activities

Since 2021, the school has conducted an annual hackathon for students aged 13 to 18.[13]
