Biography
He got his PhD (
Nizhny Novgorod State University under the advice of L. P. Shil’nikov. Also in 1990 he received his Doctor of Science degree in Mathematics and Physics, at Saratov State University
in Russia.
After then, he held several academic positions, including:
- 1992-1995 Visiting Principal Research Scientist, Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta.
- 1995-1996 Visiting Professor, Evanston, IL.
- 1996-1998 Visiting Professor, National Tsing Hua University, Hsinchu, Taiwan.
- 1998–present Professor–researcher, IICO, México.
