Comment: Does anyone have access to the cited Wall Street Journal source? I'm not a subscriber so I can't see the article, but I'm wondering if anyone else can so we can see if it's a good source. Safehaven86 (talk) 19:05, 19 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
- If you search the first sentence, you'll find copies on other News Corporation properties, e.g. Fox News. It doesn't mention Almostfamous at all - David Gerard (talk) 20:02, 19 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  - In that case, Delete: With no WSJ source, the only remaining plausible RS is the Miami New Times blog, and that's not a particularly strong source anyway. Safehaven86 (talk) 20:04, 19 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
    - Safehaven86, David Gerard: I'm not sure whether the Fox News copy is the entire article. If you look at the bottom there is a link that says "click here to read more on this article", which suggests that there is more available on the WSJ website.       - I googled on the second sentence and that let me view the entire article if I went to it from the Google search results. Almostfamous, Tedd Bernard or Jon Barchan aren't mentioned in it - David Gerard (talk) 20:17, 19 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
        Also, when I search wsj.com for Almostfamous, Tedd Bernard, or Jon Barchan, I get zero hits (hits would come up even if they were just previews for subscriber-only content). Safehaven86 (talk) 20:32, 19 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Delete: David Gerard, you are correct – I did a Google search on the first sentence, and that didn't bring up the same results as you got with the second sentence. But I can see now that the whole article talks about the University of Miami's entrepreneur support fund, which financially backed AlmostFamous among other start-ups... but doesn't mention Almost Famous itself, so it's no use as a source. Given that the company no longer exists, appears to have had no lasting notability, and there are no good sources available, I agree it fails WP:NCORP.
