  • Comment for clarity are these groups of ethnic Armenians or of Armenian nationals (as opposed to nationals of Turkey, the Ottoman Empire, Russia, the Soviet Union, or other countries)? If the former, it should be so titled in keeping with the distinction between Category:Armenian people and Category:Ethnic Armenian people; if the latter it should be purged by all groups based outside Armenia.     This distinction is absurd. Since when is the word Armenian used only in relation to the Armenian state, which has existed only since 1991? Everywhere outside Wikipedia, Armenians are called Armenians, not Ethnic Armenians. It's the
    Goethe
    was not German but Ethnic German, because no state called Italy or Germany existed in their time.
    In the present case, terrorism linked to the Armenian cause has existed, and the fact that members of such groups were citizens of Soviet Armenia or independent Armenia is not relevent.   • Mild oppose This discussion should probably be held for the entire Terrorism by perpetrator. Terrorism linked to the Armenian cause has occurred, and it would be whitewashing to call these groups militant groups. However, the category seems poorly populated, with several groups not mentioned, including the Justice Commandos of the Armenian Genocide, and maybe the Armenian Revolutionary Federation of the time of Operation Nemesis.   • Support, Category:Organizations designated as terrorist in Europe has not otherwise been diffused by ethnicity and I do not see a need for such a diffusion. Note that 2 out of the 3 articles in the category are also directly in Category:Organizations designated as terrorist in Europe and I cannot see if the third article belongs there as well.   • Oppose - we have Category:2015 in Iraqi Kurdistan etc, so why Rojava autonomy in Syria is different? Smallcat applies to cats which cannot be expanded (like 1765 BC in the Babylonian Empire). This is not the case.GreyShark (dibra) 20:49, 18 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Leaning oppose I can see several are "soil-only", but many seem to be mixed, like the American Society of Agronomy, which mentions both areas. It's not a huge category, & I'm not sure a split is needed with the present population, or a clean one possible. I think the problem is more fundamental - for example, not one of the many in Category:Agricultural organisations based in England is in this category, whereas many would seem to qualify. We probably already have too many underpopulated categories, and not enough categorization - this nom will not help either. As so often, fiddling at CfD is not what is needed.   • Oppose - Most colleges that offer majors in agronomy are now offering them in crop, plant, or environmental sciences. If you look at how crops (and plants for that matter) are grown, they require soil to make it happen. The Soil and crop science organizations category has about 20 listings when I checked prior to making this selection. This is for any global organization that deals with soil and crop science.   • Not sure why "Most colleges that offer majors in agronomy are now offering them in crop, plant, or environmental sciences." is a reason to oppose. It seems like that statement is similar to the fact that here in WP
    Crop science is a redirect to Agricultural science - but then Soil science is still something separate. The fact that crops require soil to grow is a poor reason to oppose, as they also require water and sun so grow and we do not want to have meteorology to be included here.
