Personal photo only used on a vanished editor's User page. I PROD'd this file and it was de-PROD'd so I'm nominating it here. I am not a regular at FFD so I don't know the policy on personal photos that are only used on User pages but the editor will not be returning and I see no encyclopedic use for this joke image on the rest of the project. Warily, I vote Keep. While this very much appears to be a user photo and I see no reason for the user page usage to be removed, I question whether we should keep photos like this that may glorify violence/murder/suicide. It is a copyrighted image from the Congregation of Mary Immaculate Queen, not an own work. This logo can be found on this archive of the official CMRI website; the archive states "Copyright © 1996-2011 CMRI".

@Buffs: we have no clue as to when this logo was created, and you have not provided any. For all we know, the logo could have been created in 2000 or later. We do not know if it is the 1967 logo if there was even a logo at the time; it is also possible the file is not the first logo, but a new one created later.

I cannot distinguish anything from this picture. The picture is undated; and juging by the resolution, the picture is recent so it does not prove at all that this logo 1) dates back to 1967, and 2) was not copyrighted at its creation. Veverve (talk) 22:46, 11 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
If it were copyrighted at its creation in the US, it would have to have a registered copyright. I cannot find one in the online records. Again, copyright is not just assumed by the precautionary principle. The photo in question in the video is from the mid-1970s, not "recent" (for the record, I do not support this organization in any way...my comments are strictly regarding the copyright of the image in question).
