Draft:Alex Gimeno (musician)
Purely a technicality, I suppose, but this isn't strictly speaking a
WP:G4 candidate, as it isn't in article space. Please see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Alex Gimeno. Pete AU aka Shirt58 (talk) 08:53, 20 January 2022 (UTC)

- Draftspace is a good place to recreate deleted articles, especially if they were deleted for non-notability or quality issues. It's a good time for the creator to look for reliable sources. If they can't find any, it will be G13'd anyway after they give up.
- Delete as WP:TNT. This is a mess since the original draft was primarily written by and pushed into mainspace by an editor who has been recently banned for promotional editing, so it would be better to have one written from scratch by an editor without such a conflict of interest. - Weak Delete due to it being the product of an editor being banned for paid editing, unless anyone does actually want to use this as the basis for a policy-compliant draft. — -1 01:12, 21 January 2022 (UTC)]
- Comment I don't typically tag drafts as G4s--I've found that opinion about tagging G4s in Draft space varies among administrators from "Never!" to "No problem"--but I thought that this recreation was meager in comparison to the article that was deleted and not in any way an improvement. But I welcome a deletion discussion where the draft can be considered and other editors can offer their opinions on it. Liz Read! Talk! 02:56, 22 January 2022 (UTC)
- Weak Delete as per Arccosecant as the product of a banned editor (but not G5 because created before block). Robert McClenon (talk) 23:24, 23 January 2022 (UTC)
- Comment - An article can be deleted from article space on account of a previous AFD. We knew that. A previous AFD does not result in G4 deletion of a draft. A previous AFD is a basis for a reviewer to Reject the draft as not-notable. I did once see a draft that was properly deleted as G4 because a previous draft had been deleted at MFD. But a draft that has the same wording as a deleted article isn't essentially the same as the deleted article. Robert McClenon (talk) 23:24, 23 January 2022 (UTC)
