Israeli–Palestinian conflict solutions
- ]
Sinai option, one of many proposed "Israeli–Palestinian conflict solutions", was created at the redirect title in 2023, and moved recently by @Lionel Messi Lover. Despite the long history, I think this still should not be pointed directly at any one solution, given both the plural and the fact that this elevates this particular proposal (not, I think, a particularly prominent one) above others. I think this should be a disambig page, though if there exists a good overview page that would make a good alterative target as well. Israeli–Palestinian peace process is the closest I've found, but it isn't very well suited in my opinion. Rusalkii (talk) 01:25, 24 March 2025 (UTC)
- I agree with the entire nomination. The only other option I've found is List of Middle East peace proposals#Israeli–Palestinian peace process but I consider that inferior to Israeli–Palestinian peace process - not only does it mark that as the main article, but it doesn't include the Sinai option, the Jordanian option and probably others too. We also don't have a single category or template that I've found that lists the various proposals. Thryduulf (talk) 01:57, 24 March 2025 (UTC)

Relisting comment: There is support to retarget to Israeli–Palestinian peace process, and I would have closed this, but what prompted me to relist was the nom's words that this target.. isn't very well suited in my opinion.

- Support relisting to Israeli-Palestinian peace process, but I think the page merits an article of its own right. However, it will take time to develop this redirect into its own article. This redirect is a violation of WP:NPOV since it seems like Wikipedia is advocating for the Sinai option. Therefore, I think it should be redirected quite hastily and then developed into an article later. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Easternsahara (talk • contribs) 23:50, 18 April 2025 (UTC)]

Relisting comment: This discussion somehow got left behind on the April 13 log page even though that log page was supposed to be cleared months ago. Bringing it back into the fold.

Editors confusingly opposed moving the target of this page (
- Oppose -- the result of WP:BARTENDER close, but again, that is not a consensus close; it reflects a general agreement that it should not be Google Knowledge Graph, but there was certainly not a consensus that it shouldn't be simply Knowledge Graph, which is the basis for this "can't argue with consensus" claimed. -- Nat Gertler (talk) 13:27, 25 June 2025 (UTC)]
- Then why on earth would we not move Knowledge Graph if it is the primary topic? This is a {{R from unnecessary disambiguation}}. InfiniteNexus (talk) 14:25, 25 June 2025 (UTC)]
- There was no consensus to move it to Google Knowledge Graph was not prefered. Part of the argument for the (Google) version there was your claim that it should've been something another editor wanted, rather than reflecting any suggestion that editor had made. Yes, there were editors saying that DIFFCAPS were not sufficient -- two of them cited that essay, but the proposer (you) cited that as well, and the more-than-two "support" votes presumably agreed. -- Nat Gertler (talk) 15:22, 25 June 2025 (UTC)]
- Whether there was no consensus for any action, consensus against a move, consensus in favor of the status quo, or any combination of the three, the fact remains that WP:TITLEDAB. The purpose of the RM was to rectify this and move the unnecessarily disambiguated title to the undisambiguated one since it is the primary topic, but it was not successful (it doesn't matter how, as a "no consensus" close effectively upholds the status quo, in this case, the continued use of unnecessary disambiguation). Thus, the only other way to sort this out would be to disambiguate since there is apparently no primary topic; if there is a primary topic, then the RM should have passed and the article should have been moved. InfiniteNexus (talk) 01:30, 26 June 2025 (UTC)]

- Delete as ambiguous. Most of my (personalised) results relate to a storm that affected north east England in June 2012, but on the first two pages there are also hits related to Hurricane Sandy, a storm impacting north east Scotland in November 2012 and a storm impacting Cheboygan County, Michigan that December. Thryduulf (talk) 12:20, 25 June 2025 (UTC)
- Delete as ambiguous. I wish people would stop creating year-based redirects for weather events with no geographical qualifiers; almost every major weather event happens more than once in any given year. Carguychris (talk) 17:32, 27 June 2025 (UTC)

These titles bypassed a blacklisted entry on MediaWiki:Titleblacklist that was added to the blacklist in late 2014. (See MediaWiki talk:Titleblacklist/Archive 4#Request to add to title blacklist for further details.) Both of these titles were created after 2014. Neither of these have a technical need to exist. (The blacklist entry was created since consecutive apostrophes in titles cause issue with wiki markup on pages.) Delete both. Steel1943 (talk) 04:27, 25 June 2025 (UTC)

- No comment on the votes, but just trying to understand. How did these titles bypass the blacklist? Isn't mediawiki supposed to fail their creation? Jay 💬 11:19, 2 July 2025 (UTC)
- The title blacklist can be overridden by admins (such as the creator of the first redirect) and page movers (such as the creator of the second redirect). The reason for this is that some titles are on the blacklist due to containing strings commonly used in vandalism or frequently recreated articles, and these can generate false positives. This actor played in several other films and not only Elio. Elio is probably the most popular one, but it's still not a good reason to redirect. It's better to have it as a red link. Amir E. Aharoni (talk) 01:31, 25 June 2025 (UTC)
