Generic ship shortcuts

Is it worth adding the following templates as there is increasing use in article titles:

  • { { TSS } } Twin-screw Steam Ship articles
  • { {TSMV} } Twin-screw Motor Vessel articles

Are those commonly used? I have never heard of the latter. Tupsumato (talk) 11:50, 22 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
According to this search, there is only the one 'TSMV' article. There are about 100 TSS articles though not all about ships. Of the two, only TSS is listed at Ship prefix; neither is supported by the infobox automatic title format code. For the price of five typed characters, editors can always use {{ship}} to format ship names with uncommon prefixes:
{{ship|TSMV|Shanklin}} vs [[TSMV Shanklin|TSMV ''Shanklin'']]
TSMV Shanklin

TSS certainly is and I've noticed TSMV used in a number of articles, admittedly by the same contributor. Murgatroyd49 (talk) 09:33, 23 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
