William Daum Euler, Canadian parliamentarian.
Euler was born in
Minister of National Revenue (1927 to 1930), and Minister of Trade and Commerce (1935 to 1940). He served until 1940, when he was appointed to the Senate representing the senatorial division of Waterloo, Ontario. He died in office in 1961 in Kitchener.[1] He is buried in the Mount Hope Cemetery in Kitchener, Ontario.[2]
As Senator, he waged the campaign to eliminate the ban on margarine in Canada.[3]
In 1961 he became the first Chancellor of Waterloo Lutheran University (now Wilfrid Laurier University).[4]
