Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) north-east of Lubomino, 17 km (11 mi) west of Lidzbark Warmiński, and 37 km (23 mi) north of the regional capital Olsztyn
.

Before 1772 the area was part of Kingdom of Poland, and in 1772–1945 it belonged to Prussia and Germany (East Prussia).
