Geography

City of Worthington Hills is located in northeastern Jefferson County. It is bordered to the north and east by Coldstream and otherwise by consolidated Louisville/Jefferson County. Downtown Louisville is 15 miles (24 km) to the southwest.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.25 square miles (0.64 km2), all land.[4]

The average household size was 2.76 and the average family size was 3.12.

In the city, the population was spread out, with 28.3% under the age of 18, 8.7% from 18 to 24, 40.3% from 25 to 44, 20.5% from 45 to 64, and 2.2% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 31 years. For every 100 females, there were 93.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 92.1 males.
