Abaru, Hamadan

Abaru (

Romanized as Abarū, Abrū, Eberoo, and Eberū,^[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Abaru Rural District of the Central District of Hamadan County, Hamadan province, Iran.^[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 3,486 in 773 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 3,783 people in 1,034 households.^[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 3,585 people in 1,013 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.^[2]
