Boyukabad

Boyukabad (

Romanized as Boyūkābād; also known as Bābūkābād, Būbūkābād, and Būyūkābād,^[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Chah Dasht Rural District of Shara District, Hamadan County, Hamadan province, Iran.^[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,408 in 326 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,305 people in 394 households.^[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,027 people in 319 households.^[2]

The village is

Azeri Turkic speaking.^[7]
