Arkansas Highway 35 is a northwest–southeast
state highway in southeast Arkansas. The route runs 115.83 miles (186.41 km) from Dewey near the Mississippi River northwest to Arkansas Highway 5 in Benton.[2]

Route description
The route begins in
Returning to Chicot County, AR 35 intersects the four-lane divided
Monticello Bypass (the bypass itself is a portion of the long-term plan to extend Interstate 69 through Arkansas
). A sign exists at where AR 32 will meet I-69 that states "Future I-69 Corridor <--->".
AR 35 continues northwest to enter
US 79, after which the route serves the rural northwest corner of the county.[6]
The route next enters
