Banize (French pronunciation: [baniz]; Occitan: Banhesa) is a commune in the Creuse department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region in central France.

Thaurion, some 10 miles (16 km) west of Aubusson
at the junction of the D10 and the D16 roads.
