Benjamin Staines (born 13 July 1997) is a field hockey player from Australia, who plays as a forward.[1][2]

Personal life

Benjamin Staines was born and raised in

Goulburn, New South Wales.[3][2]

Career

Under–21

In 2017, Staines made his debut for the Australia U–21 team during the Sultan of Johor Cup in Johor Bahru.[4] He followed this up with an appearance at the same tournament the following year.[4]

Indoor hockey

In 2022, alongside his brother Jake, Staines was named in the Australian Indoor team for the FIH Indoor World Cup in Pretoria.[5]

Kookaburras

Following a successful

season three of the FIH Pro League in Rourkela.[7][4]
