Carp's tit (Melaniparus carpi) or Carp's black tit, is a

black tit. It is found throughout the Namibian savanna woodlands and the southern Angolan mopane woodlands
.

Its name commemorates olympic sailor and ornithologist Berend Carp (1901-1966).
