Centerville is located in south-central Klickitat County at 45°45′8″N 120°54′17″W / 45.75222°N 120.90472°W (45.752330, -120.904689).[4] It is 4 miles (6 km) west of U.S. Route 97, 8 miles (13 km) southwest of Goldendale, and 11 miles (18 km) northwest of the Columbia River at Maryhill.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the Centerville CDP has a total area of 3.3 square miles (8.6 km2), all of it land.[1]

The average household size was 2.55 and the average family size was 2.81.
In the CDP, the population was spread out, with 20.8% under the age of 18, 5.8% from 18 to 24, 30.8% from 25 to 44, 30.8% from 45 to 64, and 11.7% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 42 years. For every 100 females, there were 103.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 97.9 males.
