Chesneya is a genus of flowering plants in the family Fabaceae.[2] It includes 47 species which range across temperate Asia, from Turkey through Syria, Iraq, Iran, Central Asia, and the Himalayas to Inner Mongolia, central China, and Myanmar.[1] It belongs to the subfamily Faboideae.
