Conasprella rainesae, common name Maze's cone, is a species of

mollusk in the family Conidae, the cone snails and their allies.[1]

Like all species within the genus Conasprella, these cone snails are

venomous
. They are capable of "stinging" humans, therefore live ones should be handled carefully or not at all.

The maximum recorded shell length is 25 mm.[2]

Habitat

Minimum recorded depth is 55 m.[2] Maximum recorded depth is 110 m.[2]
