The size of the shell varies between 35 mm and 60 mm. The imperforate shell has a low-conic shape. Its color pattern is, metallic brownish-purple above, nearly white below. The six
peristome is sinuous above. The umbilical region is covered with a heavy callus, more or less stained with pinkish, somewhat excavated at center, and obsoletely spirally ridged.[2]
Distribution
This marine species occurs off the Philippines, Indo-China, Indo-Malaysia, Japan and Australia (Northern Territory, Queensland).
