Hormuz District (Persian: بخش هرمز) is in Bandar Abbas County, Hormozgan province, Iran.[3] Its capital is the city of Hormuz.

At the 2006 National Census, its population (as a part of Qeshm County) was 5,699 in 1,143 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 5,867 people in 1,345 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 5,891 inhabitants in 1,698 households.[2]

In March 2019, the district was transferred to Bandar Abbas County.[3]
