Jørgen Strand Larsen[2] was born on 6 February 2000 in Halden, Viken.[1]
Club career

Larsen started his career as a youth player with
On 1 September 2020, Larsen signed a four-year contract with Eredivisie club Groningen.[citation needed] He made his debut as a starter in a 3–1 defeat to PSV, in which he contributed an assist.[citation needed] Larsen was selected in the Eredivisie Team of the Month for November 2021.[5] He was named as Groningen's Player of the Year in May 2022.[citation needed]

International career
Larsen played for the Norway under-17 national team at the 2017 UEFA European Under-17 Championship, in which he scored a goal against the Netherlands in a 2–2 draw in the group stage.[citation needed]
in November 2020, Larsen was called up to the senior team for the first time.[10] On September 7 2023, Larsen scored a goal and contributed two assists in a friendly match at home against Jordan. In the end, Norway won 6-0.[11]
Style of play
Larsen is a tall and physical striker who is proficient with his back to goal, as well as possessing the technical ability to link up play with his teammates. He is a consistent threat inside the opposition's box due to his aerial prowess and his capacity to score goals from close range. Larsen has been praised for his technical proficiency on the ball and off the ball positioning. His style of play has been compared to that of compatriot Erling Haaland.[12]
