Kinchafoonee Creek (

Its name comes from the

Creek word for "mortar nutshells", which refers to a type of nutcracker.[3]

The creek flows through Chattahoochee, Marion, Dougherty, Lee, Terrell, and Webster (formerly Kinchafoonee) counties.
