Formation

On July 18, 2018, the formation of this alliance was announced in a press conference at the temporary office of the alliance at Mukti Bhaban in Paltan of the capital.[1] At the time of its formation, the coalition consisted of eight parties. Subsequently, on 24 May 2022, the membership of the Ganosamhati Andolan and Revolutionary Workers Party was suspended.[2]

Democratic Left Front was formed around 2013. In continuation of that front, this alliance was newly formed in 2018.
