The name "Nedrow" is an anadrome of founder's name Worden.^{[citation needed]}

Nedrow is located at 42°58′40″N 76°8′38″W / 42.97778°N 76.14389°W / 42.97778; -76.14389 (42.977666, -76.143764),^[2] on U.S. Route 11, south of Syracuse. Interstate 81 passes through the community.

According to the United States Census Bureau, Nedrow has a total area of 1.0 square mile (2.6 km²), all land.
