Nevis Township is a township in Hubbard County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 875 at the 2000 census.
Nevis Township may be named after Ben Nevis, in Scotland.[3]
Geography
According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 33.5 square miles (86.7 km2), of which 27.8 square miles (71.9 km2) is land and 5.7 square miles (14.8 km2) (17.08%) is water.

There were 368 households, out of which 23.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 66.3% were married couples living together, 3.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 24.7% were non-families. 22.6% of all households were made up of individuals, and 13.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. In the township the population was spread out, with 20.5% under the age of 18, 5.5% from 18 to 24, 19.8% from 25 to 44, 33.8% from 45 to 64, and 20.5% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 48 years. For every 100 females, there were 102.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 102.9 males.
