Richwood is located between the
M13 (Tygerberg Valley Road). The M13 connects Richwood to Durbanville and Bothasig and also provides access to the N7 highway (to Cape Town and Malmesbury) via the M14 and M12
.
Richwood contains a large residential area by the name of Burgundy Estate, which has a large amount of apartment complexes, including two large estates from the JSE listed Balwin Properties. These are considered popular residential areas, due to its central proximity to various key areas within the City of Cape Town.
