Welcome

G'day, welcome to Wikipedia. You've certainly had an interesting start (I've had a look over your edits). I think you may need some more experience before your Request for Administation comes through, and you could start with reading through some of the stuff below:

You seem to have been accidentally autoblocked by the software, and have been unblocked accordingly. If you can give me your IP number, I will see if the IP block can be removed to prevent future blocks. // Pathoschild 14:57, 16 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
My IP address right now is 68.190.51.99. All in 22:24, 16 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, just wanted to thank you for voting on my RFA, which went through with a count of (58/0/1), far better than I'd expected. I intend to take things slowly and start using the extra abilities gradually, but if there's anything I can do just leave a message. Cheers, CTOAGN (talk) 13:54, 7 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

My RfA

Hi! Thanks for your support in my request for adminship (did you know that "adminiship" is not an English word? Unbelievable!). It ended with a tally of (51/0/0). As an administrator, I hope to better help this project and its participants: if you have any question or request, please let me know. - Liberatore(T) 12:43, 1 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'd like to talk to you in private....

One of the IPs you use is heavily used by vandals to create sockpuppets and generally cause trouble. You're the only nonvandal user of this IP. Could we talk about this more in private? Kelly Martin (talk) 06:35, 2 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, first, I have CheckUser rights on enwiki, which allows me to find out what IP addresses an editor is using; second, you revealed your IP address higher up on your talk page. We don't do this casually; I happened across this situation while investigating a mass vandal. I am contacting you because I don't think you're a mass vandal, but I'd like to block the IP in question permanently without interfering with your ability to edit. Please email me at [1]; I promise to keep your contact information confidential. Kelly Martin (talk) 15:09, 3 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you

Thank you for your vote of confidence in my recent request for bureaucratship. Even though it didn't pass, I greatly appreciate your support and hope I will continue to have your respect. Thank you! Flcelloguy (A note?) 22:54, 2 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

My RFA

Thank you, All in, for voting in my RFA. It closed with a final result of 75/1/0. Now that I am an administrator here, I will continue to improve this encyclopedia, using my new tools to revert vandalism, block persistent vandals, protect pages that have been vandalized intensively, and close AFD discussions. Any questions? Please contact me by adding a new section on my talk page. Again, thanks to all of you who participated!!! -- King of 23:24, 20 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your support! I pledge to serve both you and Jimbo Wales.

If you have anything you need, then please don't think to hesitate.

My Thanks

I wanted to drop a brief note on your talk page (one admittedly not written to you only, but nevertheless truly meant) to thank you for your vote in my Request for Adminship, which concluded this evening. Even though it was unsuccessful, it did make clear to me some areas in which I can improve my contributions to Wikipedia, both in terms of the areas in which I can participate and the manner in which I can participate. I do plan on, at some point in the future (although, I think, not the near future), attempting the process again, and I hope you will consider participating in that voting process as well. If you wish in the future to offer any constructive criticism to me, or if I may assist you with anything, I hope you will not hesitate to contact me. Thanks again. —

Issue with map

Hello. I see you have modified Image:Cfdia.PNG in the past. Some anonymous editors are upset that Arkansas State is pointing to the wrong part of the state. I have addressed the matter on the image's talk page. If you have time, do you think you could edit the map to reflect the correct location? Thanks.↔NMajdantalk 21:15, 31 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

College football map

AFAIK, you're the last person who's actually edited the map of NCAA Division I FBS football programs at —the most recent person apparently only compressed it. Therefore, I have a small favor to ask.

Think you could change the location of one of the schools, and possibly add another?

  1. Arkansas State is NOT in Little Rock. It's instead in Jonesboro, in the northeastern part of the state. This one HAS to change.
  2. Western Kentucky University (please label as "Western Kentucky"), located in Bowling Green, will enter a two-year transition period from Division I FCS (formerly I-AA) to FBS in July 2007. This addition is optional for the time being, since WKU won't be a full FBS member until 2009. For more details, see the main university article and also the one for Sun Belt Conference, which Western is joining for football (it's already a member in other sports).

Thanks... Dale Arnett 20:42, 11 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link fixing one-day contest

I have decided to put on a mini-contest within the

WP:DABCONCEPT page into an article, but you'll have to let me know me that you did so. Here's to a fun contest. Note that according to the Daily Disambig, we currently have under 256,000 disambiguation links to be fixed. If everyone in the disambiguation link fixers category were to fix 500 links, we would have them all done - so aim high! Cheers! bd2412 T 01:41, 18 November 2013 (UTC)[reply

Hello, All in. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, 3peat, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

This user is asking that their block be reviewed:

All in (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I would like to return to editing Wikipedia. I will not engage in further sockpuppetry, all those other accounts can remain blocked. I will also do my best to comply with any other applicable policy. I think if I am given a second chance then I can be a good editor and contributor to Wikipedia.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/All_in/Archive That page lists the other accounts I have used, I will not attempt to use them or get them unblocked.

All in (talk) 16:51, 10 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Notes:

  • In some cases, you may not in fact be blocked, or your block has already expired. Please check the list of active blocks. If no block is listed, then you have been autoblocked by the automated anti-vandalism systems. Please remove this request and follow these instructions instead for quick attention by an administrator.
  • Please read our guide to appealing blocks to make sure that your unblock request will help your case. You may change your request at any time.
Administrator use only:

If you ask the blocking administrator to comment on this request, replace this template with the following, replacing "blocking administrator" with the name of the blocking admin:

{{Unblock on hold |1=blocking administrator |2=I would like to return to editing Wikipedia. I will not engage in further sockpuppetry, all those other accounts can remain blocked. I will also do my best to comply with any other applicable policy. [[User:All in|All in]] ([[User talk:All in#top|talk]]) 16:51, 10 August 2022 (UTC) |3 = ~~~~}}

If you decline the unblock request, replace this template with the following code, substituting {{subst:Decline reason here}} with a specific rationale. Leaving the decline reason unchanged will result in display of a default reason, explaining why the request was declined.

{{unblock reviewed |1=I would like to return to editing Wikipedia. I will not engage in further sockpuppetry, all those other accounts can remain blocked. I will also do my best to comply with any other applicable policy. If you accept the unblock request, replace this template with the following, substituting Accept reason here with your rationale:

Checkuser data shows no obvious block evasion, but it's a noisy range. I don't find the request particularly convincing either way so I'm not reviewing it. --Yamla (talk) 17:17, 10 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Well, hopefull you won't use any socks not listed. Please describe what constructive edits you would make. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 22:00, 10 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I would correct errors such as spelling and grammar errors, as well as formatting errors, such as reducing overlinking or cleaning up references if other editors make mistakes or overlook things.
About 15 years ago I helped to create individual pages for seasons of the TV show "The Challenge", formerly known as "
Real World/Road Rules Challenge
". That type of article tends to attract unregistered editors to say unsourced things about those shows and/or cast members of those shows, especially prior to the show airing, and I can watch those pages to help prevent things such as BLP violations.
Later on I created the page
Most played rivalries in NCAA Division I FBS
(with the account I was using at the time). I would also make edits to keep that page and similar pages up to date.
A lot of my edits would be "
wikignome
" edits, where I correct whatever errors other editors may have missed, for whatever reason.
I am willing to answer further questions if necessary. All in (talk) 22:13, 10 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I think you need to affirm you won't edit logged out and will not create more accounts. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 14:10, 12 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I will refrain from violating the sockpuppetry policy and that includes not creating more accounts and not editing logged out. All in (talk) 15:12, 12 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Looks good to me. Should check with blocking admin, @Rschen7754: Ok to unblock? -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 16:00, 12 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, that seems fine to me. --Rschen7754 18:13, 12 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
