While it is true that the team played their home games in Brooklyn that season, it appears that they are still referred to as "Hartford Dark Blues" by all encyclopedias, including Retrosheet and Baseball-Reference. A contemporary New York Times article refers to the team in the heading as the Brooklyn Hartfords, then calls them Hartford or Hartford Blue Stockings throughout the article, even for the box score. Here's the link.Neonblaktalk - 14:43, 26 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
