Removed Biased Statement

While it's valid to acknowledge that Super Bowl XL contained a few questionable calls by the officials, the way this particular article is written clearly has a biased view that such calls were the MAIN reason Seattle lost. I altered the wording a bit, removing biased phrases such as "due to phantom holding calls on Locklear," and edited the page to be more neutral in nature. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.236.213.192 (talk) 04:10, 4 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Game notes pics

This artical is being done in the style of the

2005 Texas Longhorn football team
page. That page uses the team logos on the game notes. I am attempting to do the same for this page.

  • That page does not comply either, so I am removing them. Zzyzx11 (Talk) 05:46, 24 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
    • Your acting like its a problem. So what if it is decrative, it adds to the page. And until i pointed it out to you, it wasn't a problem with any one on the Texas page.
Don't shoot the messenger (me). The rule comes straight from the
2005 Texas Longhorn football team do fall through the cracks however. Zzyzx11 (Talk) 05:53, 24 July 2006 (UTC)[reply

  • Another question about pictures then. I had been planning to take a number of pictures at Seahawk home games this year, as well as sights in and around Qwest Field on game day for wikipedia. Given the NFLs view of games would this be contrary to the Wikimedia Foundation policy? I'd also been considering many taking pictures of the team scrimmage so each player could have a picture in their stub until it shot up to nearly 110F in eastern washington. --Insancipitory 02:07, 26 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
    • As far as I know, if you take it yourself, and you release it under a free license (such as the
GFDL or Creative Commons), than you can use it anywhere on Wikipedia. So far, the NFL has not begun to crack down on fan-created photos released under free licenses, either here on Wikipedia, flickr.com, or any other site like that. For example, images such as Image:Giants Stadium.jpg were taken by fans up in the stands and released to Wikipedia under a free license. I myself found an image posted on flickr.com here that was released under a Creative Commons license and saved it as Image:Titans Texans.jpg. Zzyzx11 (Talk) 02:17, 26 July 2006 (UTC)[reply
