I feel like groundhog day has come a little early. As has been discussed on the 2020 NFL season talk page, new coaches/managers should not be added until the are officially announced by the team, as unofficial agreements have been known to fall through (See Josh McDaniels re: Colts). @TheBigMan720: has been involved with this on the NFL side as well. And what about the individual teams’ tables of original schedules? Since most of the schedules will probably be complete overhauls of the last two months, I think as dropdowns they won’t impede much. It’s not like they’re complete duplications either, since only the last week of July, and all of August and September will be necessary. I found on that site "However, if the player in the batting order immediately preceding that half-inning’s leadoff hitter is the pitcher, the runner placed on second base may be the player preceding the pitcher in the batting order."
What does the creator of this wikipedia article have to say about that? The NL is using DH this year, but the DH rule allows for cases where the pitcher can be in the batting order. Carlm0404 (talk) 23:39, 22 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

NBA Playoffs brackets to list the 3-seed above the 2-seed. The NBA system is the closest example to the this season's MLB system because both use an 8-team straight-bracket format in each conference. so what determines the rankings of two tied teams on equal win/loss percentage who haven't qualified for the postseason? This article does not say the most striking thing about the 2020 season - that all games were played in empty stadiums with no fans in attendance. The article does describe that at one point as the owners' proposal, but the article never says that it happened. If you were to describe the 2020 MLB season in one sentence, obviously that fact would be in it. But here are pages and pages, charts and charts, on the 2020 season, but this most significant, obvious, unusual, and distinctive aspect of it (together with the low number of games) is left out. If the Tigers won both of the canceled games to the Cardinals, the seeding would have been different. The Giants would have been the #1 seed in 2003 if they won the canceled game vs the Mets.
