Inspiration

Was this inspired by From the Earth to the Moon and Around the Moon by Jules Verne? The First Men in the Moon by H.G. Wells seems to have come out around the same time, so maybe these themes were just in the zeitgeist? -- Beland (talk) 05:51, 13 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
