History
I'm a bit skeptical that ad blocking was invented in 1996. Does anyone know when the first version of the Internet Junkbuster was released? I know it was around by February 1997: Wired story. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 04:37, 5 February 2023 (UTC)
Possible COI
I didn't think about this when initially editing, but I have a possible Conflict of Interest for this article. (I have maintained a niche ad blocker, not notable enough for a Wikipedia entry.) The image under "Methods" and several references are also from me. Regards,
