Correct the Rein of Maharana Bhupal Singh

Maharana Bhupal Singh died in 1955. Hence his rein must be up to 1955. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.83.229.69 (talk) 17:55, 11 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This low-quality page needs to be vastly improved or deleted

This page is of very poor quality. There are barely any sources cited by the contributors for the claims made by them. The article is most definitely not of neutral tone as the writer(s) is practically gushing over the subject. Sentences are often repeated over and over again. The writing skills displayed here are simply atrocious. — Preceding unsigned comment added by आज़ादी (talkcontribs) 16:42, 25 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Pov edits

Sitush, can you see this revert [1]. A high quality source from Abraham Eraly was removed adding stuff from regional authors, who tend to glorify Rajput caste. This source records Amar Singh 1 submitting to Jahangir and i think it was removed primarily because some editors (who may have grown up reading bardic accounts and understand it to be true history) think that it is derogatory. When Rana clasped his (Khurram's) feets and asked foregiveness for his faults, he took his head and placed it on his breast and consoled him in such a manner as to comfort him.[1]

The primary motive of recent reverts was removing this submission. As most of them come here to write what they have listened from bards and they tend to glorify Rajputs. Tagging LukeEmily, Ekdalian.-Admantine123 (talk) 04:11, 1 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I can see the poor sourcing by editor which include unheard publication such as "Mateswari" and all.Admantine123 (talk) 04:15, 1 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Admantine123, I have reviewed the same, and this is a clear case of POV pushing! You may revert the edit; the user will be reported in case they continue with their POV pushing. Thanks. Ekdalian (talk) 06:30, 1 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
the sources i have used is R.C. Majumdar and Ram Vallabh Somani (who has done one of the most comprehensive research on history of Mewar). you are free to research about their credibility the or take second opinion from any user who is a history scholar. Can you mention me what are your basis for calling their work as 'poor sources' then i might be able to clear your doubts. Please pinpoint me what info i have added is wrong .
in your revision, under section 'Role in mughal-mewar conflict' two para's were dedicated to Pratap and Amar Singh role was summed up in few line, it lacked any details about the campaign and only mention their commander name . i have added info about their campaigns. Expanded it than before none of any previous relevant info is lost.
I your cause of concern is missing

When Rana clasped his (Khurram's) feets and asked foregiveness for his faults, he took his head and placed it on his breast and consoled him in such a manner as to comfort him.[2]

that please add this back or any relevant info you think is missing but do not revert all changes
Reverting back to changes you made years ago(that too 2 or 3 years) i do not think is appropriate. this will undo all the efforts done by any other user History quester Utcursch .

I am not reverting it back. Since you drafted the present version, you may think of including it wherever it seems fit. I have also asked Sitush to have a look into it. Admantine123 (talk) 07:43, 1 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
