Re this edit:

WP:ANI. There's no reason to be singling out the noticeboard out of the many article entries listed there. – Uanfala (talk) 11:52, 6 April 2020 (UTC)[reply

Reverting good faith edits

I'd suggest, we do not revert sourced good faith edits completely. I'd try to keep what is sourced with lesser sources, and find better sources and also welcome the new user. The new editor made quite some investment in such a large edit and as to mer this merits some more attention than just a revert.Paradise Chronicle (talk) 00:42, 10 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

this is false

It was discovered September 17, 1955 by archaeologist Mark Gioloany. 2601:184:4681:5340:8575:CD05:F72D:2528 (talk) 19:38, 7 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

OK. Do you have a source for that which is better than the one used in the article? JezGrove (talk) 22:07, 7 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
There is no source given for the statement above. It was not footnoted. One can note all the ways in which Ani was chronicled by medieval writers, visited and drawn in the early modern period, excavated by Marr and so forth. No one "discovered" Ani on a particular date in 1955 or 1855, or 877 and so forth. 2601:184:4681:5340:C1B4:572F:9CF1:BAE1 (talk) 18:02, 9 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
