Hell's Belle

Detractors did not call Zeribisias “Hell’s Belle.” Ryerson Review of Journalism did: “If there is a special rank for media critics in the underworld, Zerbisias would surely be crowned Hell's Belle.” I removed the incorrect reference. – joeclark 16:49, 23 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Removed sentence

The following sentence was removed. ADM (talk) 07:10, 30 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Zerbisias controversially posted on her Twitter site that she wished reknown conservative Michelle Malkin were shot. <ref>Commentary: Toronto Star Columnist 'Wishes' Conservative Michelle Malkin Were Shot</ref> <ref>Tweet of the Day: Canadian leftwing extremist alert</ref>
Motive : Remove WP:BLP violation. LifeSiteNews and Michelle Malkin are not reliable sources, even more so for a negative BLP assertion. User:70.171.247.44

Put sentence back in. The blogosphere is small, and this made headlines.

Michelle Malkin wasn't the only source.

The story had wide coverage in the blogosphere with Zerbisias' own twitter posts linked directly. The addition of this sentence is completely relevant considering that much of the writeup here is in regards to her blogging. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.25.226.142 (talk) 17:52, 6 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Is not AZ's own Twitter message a
Reliable Source? But describing it within the bounds of NOR and NPOV would be tricky. Hmm ... CWC 03:02, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply

Edit Protection Suggestion

It may be prudent to protect this bio from editing for a bit. Antonia Zerbisias has apparently offended some in the political blogosphere who have chosen this venue to express their displeasure.

A Real Death Wish?

I hardly think that an off hand remark on twitter actually qualifies as "wishing someone were shot". If the police had gotten involved with an investigation it would be worthy of note however that (or anything remotely like it) lacking this is simple and transparent partisan activity that is (even were it not in violation of the Wikipedia NPOV core principle) unworthy of Wikipedia, and recognized as such.
