Upbringing

Inaccurate geographic references

The first two paragraphs in the Biography contain geographic inaccuracies. Mooroopna and the Goulburn area arn't in south western Victoria. Warramboolin does not exist...could you possibly mean Warrnambool? Framlingham is nearby to Warrnambool. This part of your article is confusing as it seems to state that the places mentioned are close to each other when in reality they are not. —The preceding

Nicely done but needs work

This is a well-balanced piece that would be helped if the sources were added. For example, the revelation that the Queen was shielded from Aboriginal conditions in Goulburn/Framlingham is fascinating - but where did it come from? I'd like to read more about the political sensitivities of the time.

Sadly, I'm going to knock out the reference to the Queen's sensitivities. It's been a few months now and nobody has sourced the comment. I'm no monarchist and it may well be true. But for fairness, it needs to be verified.

I've added a link relating to "Muntana", one of Roach's most haunting songs. This is only because it has touched me for years and I've always wanted to know the background behind the whole sad story. I admit this is a very clumsy effort to introduce a new article. Any suggestions on how to improve/develop it are very welcome!

Orphaned references in Archie Roach

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Archie Roach's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
