Asian Openbill (Anastomus oscitans) is a large stork found mostly in South and South-East Asia. They hunt in wetlands and prey on snails, water snakes, frogs, and insects.Photo: JJ Harrison
I realize that people now want "their" photo to be on the page but it might be good to temper such enthusiasm especially when a very large number of images exist on Wikimedia Commons and a small subset needs to be picked for the article. User:مجتبیٰ insists on using File:Asian_openbill_or_Asian_openbill_stork.jpg which shows an immature (not lack of bill gap) in flight rather than the older one File:Asian Openbill In Flight Habitat Kolkata Outskirt West Bengal India 09.09.2014.jpg which shows the colours much better on an adult. As the main researcher who put in the text I have taken some effort to make the choice of the images but would be happy to have the rationale for a change so that it improves the article rather than reduce it as this image does. User:مجتبیٰ Please decide on the basis of encylopaedic value - read the article and see the concepts that are being illustrated and make the same decision. If it is just a bird in flight that you find pretty please see commons:Category:Anastomus_oscitans_in_flight and commons:Category:Anastomus_oscitans shows how many images exist for a choice-hopefully a rational one based on encyclopaedic knowledge on the subject.
