Name

The name confuses me. "Australo" would seem to imply some connection with Australia. Yet the specimen was discovered in South Africa and lived in Gondwana. --Harizotoh9 (talk) 12:25, 13 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

"Austr-" as a prefix just means "south"; Australia being named thus because it was a new Southern continent.--Elmidae (talk) 14:31, 7 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
