Photo

I've used a photo of the end of Loch Awe to give some idea of the terrain, but ideally we want a photo centred on the grid ref given by RCAHMS (NN03822905), perhaps from the south bank above Bridge of Awe looking southeast towards Loch Awe? Le Deluge (talk) 11:17, 18 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Battle of Ben Cruachan?

With all due respect to the editors, despite name-checking an outside source, as currently constituted, this whole section strikes me as far too close to original research for comfort. Cheers all. Dumuzid (talk) 18:01, 22 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Battle of Ben Cruachan?

This section of the article is very biased against R. A. MacDonald’s view and, with no citation to show that another historian has argued against R. A. MacDonald, could possibly constitute original research unless a citation is given. Not to say that I particularly agree with MacDonald’s view but it goes completely against Wikipedia policy to tear down his argument, especially without a source.

There is also a question of whether the debate is notable enough to be included in the article. I’ve hardly read everything on the subject but it doesn’t seem that many other historians have wrote on MacDonald’s viewpoint, which means a whole section discussing the debate doesn’t seem necessary SamMcDermott (talk) 14:46, 20 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
