Complete?

In the opening, it says that the Bayeux Tapestry is one of the oldest complete tapestries in the world, but Bayeux_Tapestry says it is not complete. The reference provided does not make this claim. Wakablogger2 (talk) 17:52, 8 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Poppa of Bayeux

Poppa was the wife of Rollo, founder of the dynasty that became the Dukes of Normandy. The idea that she was the daughter of Berengar II (d. 896) is a hypothesis put forth by the very respectable scholar Katherine Keats-Rohan, but it is far from an established fact. A good summary of the arguments against the hypothesis can be found in the Poppa section of The Henry Project, at http://sbaldw.home.mindspring.com/hproject/prov/poppa000.htm.
