21/2/2013 - Ben previously described as "singer/songwriter and surfer". Seems incorrect to list him as a surfer without any specific professional activity as it is thus just a hobby (ie a singer who plays football for recreation would not be described as a "singer and footballer" but vinnie jones who has made a career in both football and acting would be described as a "footballer and actor".) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.3.219.10 (talk) 12:59, 21 February 2013 (UTC)

The result of the move request was: moved. Vote count might only be 2–1, but it's pretty obvious that the arguments supporting the move are much stronger. Jenks24 (talk) 13:00, 9 March 2013 (UTC)

- Oppose - This is either Euro- or UK-centric; this guy has not made an American megahit yet. The stats alone could not make this guy very primary. How would a musical profession triumph other professions, like aviation and baseball? --George Ho (talk) 07:02, 25 February 2013 (UTC)

- Support Very clear primary topic. Last month, his 153,957 pageviews made him over 185 times more popular than all other topics combined. (There was a spike last month, but even using January's stats, we're talking 72 times more popular.) To my knowledge there is no policy stating that a musician needs a hit single in the US to meet regular primary topic guidelines. --BDD (talk) 17:29, 1 March 2013 (UTC)
