Title is grammatical nonsense

"Berliner" is the adjective for the anything pertaining to the city of Berlin, "berlinerisch" is already the name for the dialect. However, since these inflections do not exist in English, why not just call it "Berlin dialect"? --88.65.121.110 (talk) 17:22, 15 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. "Berlin dialect" is more descriptive and natural to English speakers who may not have encountered the term before, since it uses a compound word with a space instead of the German suffixes. The
conventions
page seem to boil down to using English terms rather than German ones.
