gadfly petrel?

  • A gadfly is an anoying fly (like a horse fly). I'm fairly sure that gadfly petrels are named for their helter skelter flight at sea, which is reminisent of a fly. Sabine's Sunbird talk 06:13, 8 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
