Please rewrite this sentence

"He successfully charms the locals, presenting himself as charming and good natured." Not very elegant, since you use "charms" and "charming" in it. Australia

After checking the Australian rating board website, seems Australia got a censored version that minutes short of the US r rated version. Australian version is only m rated.
