adding claims of domestic abuse

Someone should add the claims of domestic abuse that he was accused of by his ex-wife, Melissa Benoist. She has just come out with her statement but it should be updated on his page nonetheless. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Anna-MariaHarshoGrubb (talkcontribs) 23:48, 28 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I have seen no reliable source state that the person Benoist was talking about in her video was Jenner. She did not name her attacker. Schazjmd (talk) 00:19, 29 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Additionally, as reported by the BBC, In the video, which is captioned Life Isn't Always What It Seems, the actress never names the alleged perpetrator or suggests when the relationship took place or how long it lasted. Schazjmd (talk) 00:59, 29 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, there are enough sources that placing the last attack on 2015-2016, and she actually said that they lyed about the plant. They were together from 2013 until 2017. So, if you have no source about a poligamy... IKhitron (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 02:01, 29 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
You can draw your own conclusions from detective work and
original research, but unless and until reliable sources state that it was Jenner, it cannot be added to this article. Schazjmd (talk) 15:44, 29 November 2019 (UTC)[reply

Schazjmd, I don't think you understand the term domestic abuse. She wasn't dating or married to her father, brother, uncle, cousin, etc.70.112.229.80 (talk) 00:37, 6 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

actually, domestic abuse does not strictly mean family abuse so that is the correct term. Milliesaysyeehaw (talk) 03:04, 9 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

whats domestic if not your husband? of course its domestic abuse. also, it's clear from the circumstances that he was the abuser, also from talk shows that know and say it was a "high-profile" relationship she had at the time ( link to a talk show - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EfJ9W7oZRO4 ). I think it's reasonable and important to at least say something along the lines of some sources hint to him, even though she never said his name. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.70.33.103 (talk)

It cannot be added to the article without a reliable source that reports that Benoist's claims are about Jenner. Schazjmd (talk) 23:07, 16 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Well, he just admitted that he was Benoist's abuser (but also accuses her of abusing him, too). https://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-news/news/blake-jenner-addresses-ex-wife-melissa-benoists-abuse-claims/136.49.157.251 (talk) 01:51, 9 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
