I should be able to help contribute to this one and may be able to obtain a current photo as Brian Booth is a family friend. I'll see what I can do Mistertim 03:20, 13 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

GA passed

  1. It is well written.
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
  4. It is neutral.
  5. It is stable.
  6. It is illustrated, where possible and appropriate, by images — Although I prefer an image to be added to the lead section of the article, it is suitably illustrated to pass.

All in all, a good article that is on its way to FA quality. --DarkFalls talk 05:29, 4 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Brian Booth

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Brian Booth's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 03:02, 22 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Information on later life and death?

Hi article watchers: I was thinking of nominating this article for

WP:TFA for October 19th, Booth's 90th birthday. However, the article doesn't have a lot of information about his death or post-cricket life. I also think that "Style and the place of religion in sport" can be split into two sections, as they don't really link together very well and there's enough information for them to be separate sections. Thoughts? Is anyone willing to add information to the article? Z1720 (talk) 19:40, 5 August 2023 (UTC)[reply
