Title restored

21 June 2012‎ move reverted MOS "consistent with related articles" and WP:IRS "best such sources." In ictu oculi (talk) 15:58, 29 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm. User Kauffner, I see that your response to this was (i) moved to accent-less title a 2nd time and redirect edited, (ii) an additional redirect created and edited at the alternative name Hát văn, (iii) removal of ref. Dale Alan Olsen, Popular music of Vietnam: the politics of remembering 2008. p 278. index "chầu văn, ..." several entries. (FWIW Dr. Olsen is a Garland Encyclopedia of World Music editor, the leading reference work in ethnomusicology). Are you aware that editing redirects in this way prevents moves being reverted? I have restored Olsen. Although Google Books doesn't give access to the page it's evident that this book is a reliable source for the spelling. Also Barley Norton. Music and Letters (2011) 92(1): 115-118 and Olga Dror. In ictu oculi (talk) 03:29, 15 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Who gives an index listing as a source? This is a misuse of referencing. Kauffner (talk) 04:19, 15 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Is it? Not I would have thought in the lede where it also a source for spelling, and the reference shows that Kitiarsa 2008, Lauser 2012, Taylor 2007, Norton 2011, Dror 2007 are in line with a Garland editor. Aside from that it's useful for anyone with access to Athens or a good library. In ictu oculi (talk) 04:44, 15 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
